Summer Activity Details

Park City Mountain Adventure Park
Families will find endless outdoor adventures at Park City Mountain Adventure Park during the summer. Based out of Park City Mountain Village base area, the Adventure Park includes Utah’s longest Alpine Coaster, a 3,000 ft long Alpine Slide, scenic lift rides, hiking, mountain biking, mini golf, gem panning and more.

Alpine Coaster
Climb into the toboggan-style cars of the Alpine Coaster and get ready for the ride of your life. You'll enjoy the beautiful Wasatch mountain scenery as the automated lift system whisks you to the top of the track. Then, hold on tight as you go whizzing down the mountain on nearly 4,000 feet of curves, bends and loops. It's a ride you won't soon forget.

Alpine Slide
Park City Resort's Alpine Slide is one of the longest slides in the world, with over 3,000 feet of gliding and sliding down a luge-like track. With four tracks to choose from, you can experience a different ride each time! We'll see you at the finish.

Gem Panning
Park City’s mining history runs just as deep as the powder. Visiting families can use our sluice and mining pans to discover and collect a wide variety of gems, crystals, minerals, and fossils at the base of Park City Mountain.

Mountain Biking
With miles of cross-country trails throughout the resort, bikers of all levels can access trails from both base areas. The high-speed four-seat Crescent Lift runs out of the Park City Mountain Village and unloads mountain bikers at access points for the IMBA recognized “Epic Ride” on the Mid-Mountain Trail. The Red Pine Gondola at Canyons Village will also be open for bike haul from June 18 - Sept. 6.

Hiking
Explore the beauty of the Wasatch Range on your own, or with an experienced local guide. Park City Mountain is the gateway to miles of beautiful mountain trails and offers scenic lift access from Town Lift on Main Street, the Payday and Crescent lifts at the Park City Village base area and the Red Pine Gondola at Canyons Village. Those wanting to experience the mountains firsthand can wander Park City’s extensive network of trails and venture onto the Mid-Mountain or Wasatch Crest trail to truly appreciate the mountain flora and fauna.

Bike Rentals
Park City Mountain offers bike rentals at both base areas. Guests can visit Legacy Sports at the Park City Mountain Village, or Canyon Mountain Sports at the Canyons Village. Bike rentals come with a helmet and safety gear.

Canyons Golf
Canyons Golf will open for the season on Friday, May 21. This 18-hole, par-70 course features more than 550 feet of elevation change and spectacular views of the Wasatch and Uinta mountains from almost every hole. The course encompasses 6,246 total yards and showcases unique elements such as soft path features that act as cart paths with playable terrain, four sets of tees at each hole and six holes that interact with skiable terrain. Turf includes bluegrass, native grass mix, and bentgrass. The course is located steps away from the Grand Summit Hotel, a RockResort at the base of Canyons VillageVisit www.CanyonsGolfCourse.com for more information and to reserve your tee time.
